1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing localcitationservices.com or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Local Citation Services (“we,” “us,” or “our”). If you are ordering on behalf of a business or client, you confirm you have authority to bind that business, and “you” refers to both you and that business. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
2. Our Services
Local Citation Services provides manual local citation building and related local SEO services, including directory and business listing submissions, citation audits, and supporting services described on our website. Our citation work is performed manually by our team. Specific deliverables depend on the package you order.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use our services. Our services are intended for businesses and the agencies that serve them.
4. Orders & Required Information
To deliver your order, we need accurate business information, including your business name, address, phone number (NAP), website, and any other details requested at checkout. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. We are not responsible for issues caused by incomplete or inaccurate details, though we will work with you to correct them where possible.
5. Payment
Our services are billed as a one-time fee per order. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Payment is made securely through PayPal, which also allows payment by major credit and debit cards. Your order begins after payment is received and the required business information is provided. Prices are shown on our website and may change over time, but changes do not affect orders already placed.
6. Guarantee & Refunds
Our guarantee: If you are not happy with a listing, we will fix, redo, or replace it free of charge. If you are still not satisfied, you are covered by our money-back guarantee.
To request a fix or refund, contact us at support@localcitationservices.com and describe the issue. We ask that you give us the opportunity to resolve a problem before requesting a refund, most issues are easily corrected. Refunds apply to the service fee paid to us. Because directory submissions are performed manually and begin promptly after your order, refund requests are assessed fairly based on the work completed and the nature of the issue.
7. Service Delivery
7.1 Delivery timelines
Estimated delivery times are shown on each package (for example, from around 5 days for smaller plans up to around 16 days for larger plans). These are good-faith estimates, not contractual guarantees, and begin once you have submitted the required business information, not necessarily at the moment of payment.
7.2 Live-listing rate
Around 80% of submissions typically go live, and often more. Some directories take longer to approve, require verification, or may not publish a given listing. This is normal in citation building. Where a listing does not go live, our guarantee in Section 6 applies.
7.3 Your report
On completion, we provide a detailed report with the live links, login details for the listings, and screenshots where a directory does not auto-approve. You keep full access to your listings.
8. Your Business Data
You retain ownership of your business information. You grant us permission to use it solely to deliver your order, including submitting it to the directories and listing sites included in your package. To protect you from directory spam, listings may be registered under a dedicated email we create, while your business remains the public-facing contact. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data.
9. Intellectual Property
The localcitationservices.com website, its content, and branding are our property or licensed to us. The listings and report we deliver are yours to keep and manage. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any logos, images, or content you provide to us.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our services for unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent purposes, to submit false business information, or to misuse our website. We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe to be abusive or unlawful.
11. Third-Party Services
Our service involves submitting your information to third-party directories and listing sites, and payment is processed by PayPal. We are not responsible for the policies, availability, or actions of these third parties, including a directory’s decision to approve, reject, or remove a listing.
12. Agency & White-Label Use
We welcome agencies and resellers. Reports are delivered unbranded so you can present the work to your own clients. If you order on behalf of a client, you are responsible for your relationship and agreement with that client, and for ensuring you have authority to provide us their business information. We remain a behind-the-scenes provider and do not contact your clients.
13. Results Disclaimer
Important: Local SEO and search rankings depend on factors outside our control. We do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic, leads, or revenue.
Citations support local search visibility, but search engines and directories control their own algorithms and listing decisions, and these change frequently. We deliver high-quality, manual citation work; we cannot guarantee a particular ranking or business outcome. Testimonials and examples on our website reflect specific clients’ experiences and are not a promise of similar results.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Local Citation Services is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that order. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Local Citation Services from claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our services, or your provision of information you did not have the right to provide.
16. Termination
We may decline or cancel an order that violates these Terms, with a refund assessed fairly for any work not yet performed. You may stop using our website at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification) will continue to apply.
17. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
We aim to resolve any issue directly and fairly, please contact us first at support@localcitationservices.com so we can help. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Local Citation Services operates, and any disputes not resolved directly will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
Needs your input before publishing: set your governing-law jurisdiction (your country/state) and, if you register a formal legal entity, replace “Local Citation Services” with the registered entity name throughout. We recommend a quick review by a local lawyer or accountant given your order volume.
18. General Provisions
These Terms, with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding our services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the updated version here with a revised date; continued use after changes means you accept them.
